What has been your scariest moment on Most Haunted?
"Hearing the sound of a man laughing close to me at The Golden Fleece in York. Every time I see that clip and hear that noise it makes me shake with fear!"

What has been the most enjoyable experience you have had whilst working on the show ?
"Having my children with me when we went to the states, I miss them so much when we're filming, so it was lovely to have them with us. Also driving a tank at Muckleborough museum, that was such a great experience."

Do you believe in ghosts? What is the nearest thing you have witnessed to a ghost?
"I believe there is something that we don't understand that interacts with us. It could be scientific or really spirits of dead people, I don't know, but hopefully in my lifetime I'll get to find out. I have witnessed so many strange things it is difficult to choose but I once woke up to see the ghost of a world war two soldier standing over my bed."

What's your favourite film?
"I have many different favourites ranging from old black and white movies to current blockbusters. I also love watching costume dramas."

What's your favourite book?
"I have enjoyed reading for years and it's one of my hobbies. I therefore have so many favourites, but I love Philipa Gregory's books."

What car do you drive?
"Mini Cooper S Convertible – it's fab."

What is the most memorable part of the world you have visited?
"Russia – it was so different and behind the times. I visited many of the poor areas and I'll never forget the experience."

If you could invite six people (dead or alive) over for a dinner party who would you invite?
"Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Billy Connolly, Peter Kay, Oscar Wilde and Karl my husband."

If you weren't in TV what job would you be doing?
"Teaching drama."

What would you say if your children wanted to follow in your footsteps and work in TV?
"My kids can do anything they want and I will help them in everyway I can."

Do you have any regrets?
"I don't have any regrets."

What ambitions and goals would you still like to achieve?
"To own a house by the sea and to run a quaint tea shop."

Where would you like to be in 10 years time?
"Living out my dreams running a tea shop near the sea."
