"A TV Cameraman was apparently attacked live on air by spirits as the Most Haunted series explored vaults under Edinburgh. “I’ve never seen Ciaran get frightened or scream or anything like that,” says Yvette. “We make a good Laurel and Hardy of the paranormal world. I’m the goofy one and he’s the strait one.” Ciaran adds: “I’m the sceptic of the two of us and always give the voice of reason. I’m the one that tells Yvette to shut up all the time!”...

"My favourite photograph" by Yvette Fielding
“This is me with my granddad Eric on my wedding day in 1999, when I was five months pregnant with my daughter Mary. My husband Karl and I had only known each other for three moths when he proposed – live on BBC1’s City Hospital – but we knew from the day we met that we were perfect for each other. I remember my granddad, who I call Pops, dancing wit me at my wedding and telling me, ‘You’ve got a good ‘un there Vettie.’ But he also said to Karl, ‘Make sure you treat her right, otherwise you’ll answer to me.’...

Blue Peter may be the most iconic children’s TV show of all time, but judging by the fates of some of its presenter, it would come as no surprise to find the long-running show is labouring under some sort of curse. A quick look at the misfortunes of some of the presenters – Richard Bacon, Anthea Turner and John Leslie – will show that Blue Peter isn’t perhaps the luckiest programme to work on. Yvette Fielding, who presented the show for five years, would probably agree. ‘Being on Blue Peter taught me an awful lot,’ she says, ‘but the first year was hell.’...

"Yvette Fielding’s house is without water on the day of the OK! Photo shoot. It would make sense to blame a burst water main but seeing as we’re in one of the most haunted houses in Cheshire and Yvette is currently hosting a TV show about ghosts, maybe there’s a spookier reason for the water shortage mystery."....
